The series finale of HBO’s “Game of Thrones� seats a winner – and not many predicted this dark horse candidate. The extended episode picks up with Tyrion exploring the city he grew up in. King’s Landing is a pyre, its citizens burned to their bones, ash falling like snow all around. Jon Snow and Ser Davos find Grey Worm ready to execute a few surviving Lannister soldiers. Jon tries to stop him. “How much more defeated do you want them to be?� Davos wonders. “They’re breathing,� Grey says.
